Thanks for your website. The first new car my parents bought was a 1959 Opel. It was the only one in town. I believe it was purchased in Syracuse, NY. In fifth grade I corrected our teacher when she told the class all cars had 6 or 8 cylinder engines (her husband had a Chrysler dealership). It was traded for a 1962 Buick Special wagon. I haven't seen one since.
